The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired defenseman Dennis Robertson from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for journeyman AHL goalie Drew MacIntyre.
The Hurricanes dealt Robertson in a package deal to the Blackhawks back on September 11, 2015 for Kris Versteeg and Joakim Nordstrom.
Drew MacIntyre, 32, has been jumped up and down between the NHL and AHL several times throughout the years, but he has been in a minor league starting goalie role for a majority of his professional career.
The Canes acquired MacIntyre via free agency back on July 1, 2014.
