The Carolina Hurricanes qualified Patrick Brown, Victor Rask, Brody Sutter, Keegan Lowe, Ryan Murphy and Dennis Robertson, by today’s 5:00pm deadline. However, (and for me, sadly) they didn’t qualify Zach Boychuk, Anthony Camara, Dane Fox, Carter Sandlack, Justin Shugg, Danny Biega, Michal Jordon, Rasmus Rissanen (Who signed a two-year contract in the KHL), and Rasmus Tirronen were not tendered qualifying offers. They are set to become unrestricted free agents on July 1st. Also, joining them as unrestricted free agents are Nathan Gerbe, T.J. Hensick, Brad Malone, Riley Nash and Chris Terry. The Carolina Hurricanes have already signed three players this offseason.
