Jamieson Rees was selected in the 2nd round, 44th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
The 18 year-old Hamilton, Ontario native is currently killing it in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting. Rees has recorded 12 goals and 22 assists, for a combined 34 points in 17 games played, at the time of the writing of this article.
This is a huge progression over his point totals from last year: 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 combined points in 37 games played.
Rees has been touted as having an elite hockey IQ, alongside blazing speed and very solid puck skills.
