After a joyous home opening win, the Carolina Hurricanes (2-3-2) face the Philadelphia Flyers (3-4-1) next. The last time these teams met Carolina jumped out to a two-goal lead before the Flyers scored four unanswered in the second period and won 6-3. This time the Hurricanes are out for revenge.
Like the cheesesteaks of their city, the Flyers second time around is not as pretty. Since beating the Carolina Hurricanes, the Flyers went 1-2-0 and are struggling to find consistent play. Compared to the hot Rangers with their league-leading offense, this appears to be a very winnable game.
