The Carolina Hurricanes must continue the streak. That’s the message being preached by Coach Bill Peters. Going into the game against Dallas, the Canes already knew about Boston’s win Saturday afternoon. Now they had their sights set on Toronto for the last playoff spot.
Ultimately both the scoreboard and the game did not go the Hurricanes’ way. Toronto would beat the Red Wings 5-4 and while Tampa lost they would lose in overtime and gain a point. Every team ahead of the Hurricanes tonight would earn points; the Hurricanes would leave PNC empty handed.
