Justin Faulk is the grit of the Carolina Hurricanes. He is the one player that hits hard and fights when he is needed. He gets the team going at just the right moments.
In 2011, Faulk had a special season. Winning a bronze medal with Team USA at the World Junior U-20 championships in Buffalo. He won an NCAA title as a freshman with the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
He capped the year off by signing a three-year, entry-level contract with the Hurricanes and appearing in 13 games for Charlotte in the AHL playoffs.
