Let’s take a minute and rewind to the 2018-2019 Carolina Hurricanes season. Martin Necas has made the opening night roster and plays the first seven games with the Canes in October before being sent back down to the Charlotte Checkers for multiple reasons.
In his 7 games played in the big league though, he manages to get one goal and one assist. Many Caniacs (including myself) were sad to see him go after just seven games, especially with him knotting his first NHL goal in his last game.
Now let’s fast-forward to January 25th 2020.
