The Carolina Hurricanes may be without defenseman Justin Faulk on Friday night. The All-Star took a tough fall into the boards in Thursday’s practice after a collision with forward Brad Malone.
The team will hope that the young American will be able to go against a star-studded Pittsburgh club, but that may be wishful thinking.
Faulk did some skating during Friday’s morning skate, and head coach Bill Peters provided an update on his status after afterwards.
Justin Faulk will be a game-time decision, Peters said. “I think he’ll be able to play, but we’ll see.
