In what was a total role-reversal from their earlier meeting with the Edmonton Oilers, the Carolina Hurricanes came back down to Earth rather quickly in the form of a four-goal shutout loss.
Things didn’t take long to head down hill for the Canes; a Jake Bean turnover early in the first period gave Zack Kassian the chance he needed to put Edmonton ahead.
