The Carolina Hurricanes have claimed forward Martin Frk from waivers today.

Frk was drafted 49th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2012 NHL entry draft and is a veteran of 148 AHL games with the Grand Rapids Griffins. He scored 27 goals in 67 games with the Griffins last season.
