The Carolina Hurricanes will play their fourth and final preseason game Saturday afternoon in Nashville, looking to fine-tune things ahead of Thursday night’s regular season opener at home against the Islanders.
Last time out the Canes fell to the Predators in overtime at home, though head coach Rod Brind’Amour was very pleased with the team’s performance postgame. Jesper Fast and Steven Lorentz were the goalscorers in that 3-2 loss for the Canes, while Antti Raanta was in net.
Saturday in Nashville, the Canes will roll out a lineup featuring a few NHLers and a lot of organizational guys.
