Carolina Hurricanes (2-0-0) @ Montreal Canadiens (0-4-0)
The Carolina Hurricanes will finally be back in action after having four straight days without games. After the season we just had, it has felt like an eternity since the Hurricanes last played, but the extra off time should be beneficial to a team that head coach Rod Brind’Amour said “didn’t play a very good game,” and that had “nothing going the way it should look.”
The only lineup tweak the the Hurricanes have been working with is swapping Teuvo Teravainen to the first line with Sebastian Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi and moving Martin Necas down to the second line with Vincent Trocheck and Andrei Svechnikov.
