The Carolina Hurricanes have started the 2019-20 season 4-0-0 for the first time in franchise history since relocating from Hartford. The Hartford Whalers managed to attain the feat in 1995, but the Hurricanes had yet to repeat it – until last night.
Thanks to the Montreal Canadiens, the Washington Capitals, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and most recently the Florida Panthers, the Carolina Hurricanes have opened their season with a bang. On top of their undefeated streak, every forward on the Carolina Hurricanes’ roster has registered a point. To top that off, Sebastian Aho scored his first goal of 2019-20 with the empty netter in the 3rd period!
