The Carolina Hurricanes will face off against the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night in Little Caesars Arena, looking to tie their franchise record winning streak.
The Canes have won eight straight, and nine on Tuesday would tie a record set by the 2009 Hurricanes. Carolina is coming off a close 2-1 win over the Red Wings Sunday night, sparked by a good performance in net from Alex Nedeljkovic and goals from Dougie Hamilton and Nino Niederreiter.
Rod Brind’Amour said earlier Tuesday that the lineup for the Canes would remain the same, apart from a change in net with James Reimer in the crease.
