Carolina Hurricanes (5-1-0) at Chicago Blackhawks (3-4-3)
Coming off a phenomenal homestand that featured six points in three games against the two teams that played for the Stanley Cup last season, the Hurricanes will kick off a six-game road trip Tuesday night in the first of two games against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Chicago is coming off a win over Columbus, and the Blackhawks sit at 3-4-3 on the young season. The Canes have played the last three games without Jordan Martinook, Warren Foegele, Teuvo Teravainen, Jaccob Slavin and Jesper Fast due to COVID restrictions, but Rod Brind’Amour said Monday that he hopes to have Foegele, Martinook and Teravainen back for Tuesday night’s game.
