For the third straight game, the Hurricanes will ice the same lineup tonight in Anaheim, the same one that shut out the Lightning in Raleigh on Sunday. That means Matt Tennyson, who sat out Tuesday’s practice before the team flew to California, is (relatively speaking) good to go and the Canes will scratch Ryan Murphy in his first game back on the active roster.
Unfortunately, it also means that Elias Lindholm, who took the morning skate this morning and isn’t far off from returning, won’t be in the lineup tonight. He seems to be getting closer and it is becoming more likely that he returns to the squad before the Canes return home next Tuesday.
