Carolina Hurricanes All-Star Game: Noah Hanifin among fan favorites at the festivities

If the Carolina Hurricanes make a run to the playoffs this season, a good portion of it is thanks to the development of a young core build by general manager Ron Francis. A big piece of that group is third-year defenseman Noah Hanifin, who was selected to his first All-Star Team, part of the group from the Metropolitan Division.

With the new format of the All-Star Game, it’s even more impressive that Hanifin was selected. While the Metro did not fare well in the 3-on-3 tournament, against the Atlantic Division, there’s still no question it’s the most competitive division in the league.
