Ron Francis is again hard at work. The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired Teuvo Teravainen and Bryan Bickell from the Chicago Blackhawks. So, what did the Blackhawks get in return? I had feared that it was a player or two. Nope, I was wrong. They got a second round pick in the upcoming 2016 draft, and a third round pick in the 2017 NHL draft. Does giving up two of our draft picks hurt us? Personally, I don’t think so. After all, they weren’t really ours in the first place. Thankfully we didn’t have to give up any of our first round picks.
