Is there a team in the NHL in more disarray than the Anaheim Ducks? A team with Vezina-caliber goaltending in John Gibson, a fairly decent blueline featuring the likes of Cam Fowler and Hampus Lindholm, and scoring options including Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell shouldn’t be in danger of finishing dead last in the league. Yet, with just two wins in 21 games, that is precisely where the Ducks find themselves. And it’s time the Carolina Hurricanes took advantage of another Western Conference team.
