Last season, the Carolina Hurricanes finally broke the longest playoff drought in the NHL in style, advancing to the conference final for the third time in team history. As the new season begins, with plenty of new faces and offseason turnover now in the rear view mirror, it’s time to see if the Canes can do it again.
As is our tradition, prior to every season we present our predictions, and we changed a couple of things this year to be more Canes-specific. Below you’ll find a table of our projected finish for teams in the Metro and who we think will make the playoffs out of the Eastern Conference.
