RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled forward Brock McGinn from Charlotte of the American Hockey League (AHL).
McGinn, 21, has totaled three points (2g, 1a) in 14 games in the NHL this season. Since his reassignment to Charlotte in December, the Fergus, Ont., native has posted 12 points (4g, 8a) in nine AHL games while being held off the score sheet just once. He ranks third among Checkers skaters with 19 points and second with 10 goals despite playing in only 19 of the team’s 31 contests.
