Canes Agree to Terms with Josh Wesley

RALEIGH, NCRon Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Josh Wesley on a three-year, entry-level contract. The deal will pay Wesley $575,000 in the NHL or $60,000 in the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2016-17. He will be paid $650,000 in the NHL or $65,000 in the AHL during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, and receives a signing bonus of $210,000.
