The Carolina Hurricanes (43-24-4) face the Montreal Canadiens (33-29-9) in a key matchup for both teams tonight at the Lenovo Center.
Both teams are coming off loses in their last game. The Canes dropped one to the Nashville Predators, 3-1 while the Habs lost to the Flyers, 6-4.
Carolina has lost two of their last three, but they are an impressive, 8-2-0 in their last 10 games.
The Canadiens are 3-3-4 in their last 10.
Some good news for Carolina?
Look for Andrei Svechnikov to return to action. The winger was playing on the fourth line in practice yesterday, but Brind’Amour said post-practice that he will be moved around, depending upon how he looks.
