An early 3-0 lead for the Carolina Hurricanes did not hold up through three periods at the SAP Center on Dec. 7, against the San Jose Sharks. A strong third period from the Sharks put them in position to win a game that seemed lost in the first 20 minutes.
Sebastian Aho kicked things off for the Canes, with a goal in the middle of the first period. Carolina continued to pile it on in the first with Victor Rask’s fifth of the season. Aho would add on one more before the conclusion of the first.
San Jose finally got on the board in the second period, with a goal from Melker Karlsson, on his fourth of the year.
