“We’re done losing” may not have rung true with the Carolina Hurricanes this season but Justin Williams did his part to prevent it from happening. The veteran forward returned to Raleigh for the first since 2008-09 and picked up right where he left off. He registered 51 points (16 goals, 35 assists), a three-point improvement from his performance with the Washington Capitals just a season ago. At this rate, Jaromir Jagr has some competition for the title of “ageless wonder.”
Williams was moved up and down in the line-up as was typical of Bill Peters who was rarely satisfied with his lines in any situation.
