The World Sport School Challenge hockey tournament, hosted by the Edge School for Athletes, has evolved into a December staple on the Calgary hockey calendar.
And why not, asks WSSC tournament chair Kevin Bathurst?
“The tourney is a great opportunity to see some of the best (major) midget AAA and minor midget AAA hockey in Western Canada,” Bathurst said.
And apparently more than parents, well-wishers, students and fans of the game will be watching four days worth of action at the Springbank-based school.
