With two first-rounders Winnipeg Jets have plenty of flexibility heading into NHL Draft

Now that we know where the Winnipeg Jets are scheduled to pick in the opening round of the 2015 NHL Draft, it’s the time of year when speculation about who they might actually select is beginning to heat up.

When the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs concluded, the Jets found out that they currently own the 17th and 25th picks in the first round.

That second first-rounder, in case you’ve forgotten, came over in the blockbuster deal with the Buffalo Sabres.

So what will having that extra first-rounder mean for the Jets?

That’s where the intrigue could come in.
