Winnipeg Jets gut out 1-0 win over Wild despite playing with makeshift lineup

ST. PAUL, MINN. - - On Friday morning, Paul Maurice hinted his team might not be as healthy as he'd like it to be, despite the fact Dustin Byfuglien was cleared for the game later that night.

By the time they dropped the puck, we knew why the Winnipeg Jets head coach was nervous.

The injury bug has finally found his team, at least for one day, as winger Drew Stafford and centre Adam Lowry were both late scratches against the Minnesota Wild.

With Mark Scheifele already on the shelf, the Jets were left with a makeshift lineup that included Joel Armia promoted to the second line, Matt Halischuk to the third and defenceman Adam Pardy skating alongside Anthony Peluso and Andrew Copp on the fourth.
