The Brooks Bandits laid an egg Saturday night.
A goose egg.
After cruising through the round-robin segment of the Western Canada Cup with a perfect 4-0 record, the Bandits got bombed in the championship game.
The West Kelowna Warriors got goals from a half-dozen different scorers as they beat the Bandits 6-0 in Estevan, Sask.
Kylar Hope, Garrett Forster, Brian Basilico, Nicholas Rutigliano, Kyle Marino and Jared Marino scored for the Warriors, who earned a berth in the Royal Bank Cup (May 14-22) in Lloydminster.
The Bandits still have an opportunity to join them.
