It’s safe to say Johnny Gaudreau is feeling it tonight.
The 28-year-old winger has been a man on a mission in the Calgary Flames’ game against the St. Louis Blues, posting a goal and three assists through the first two periods of play on Monday.
Gaudreau’s prettiest assist came late in the second period to set up Adam Ruzicka’s second National Hockey League goal. After taking a pass from Matthew Tkachuk just inside the blue line, Gaudreau skated toward the net and made a slick move to undress Blues defenceman Colton Parayko.
Blues forward Klim Kostin managed to get back and disrupt Gaudreau enough to prevent him from taking a shot after he deked past Parayko.
