What a game!
After 60 minutes of back-and-forth hockey between Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche resulted in a 3–3 tie, Flames winger Johnny Gaudreau put his team on top with a highlight-reel breakaway goal in overtime.
Gaudreau broke in on goaltender Pavel Francouz after taking an incredible bank pass from Elias Lindholm behind the Avalanche defence. With Nathan MacKinnon in hot pursuit, Gaudreau managed to beat Francouz over his glove to seal a 4–3 Flames victory.
