Chase De Leo knows a thing or two about climbing his way up the proverbial ladder.
That knowledge is going to come in handy as the versatile forward gets set to make the jump to the pro ranks this fall.
Chosen in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Winnipeg Jets, De Leo is looking to build on four productive seasons with the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League that saw him get better and better each year.
“A big part of my game is consistency and the next level, it's definitely important,” said De Leo, who wrapped up Jets development camp on Tuesday.
