The Calgary Flames and Seattle Kraken have agreed to terms on a Calle Jarnkrok trade, according to multiple sources.
Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman first reported on Wednesday evening that the Flames have been “aggressive pursuers” of the pending UFA Kraken forward, who has 12 goals and 26 points in 49 games this season.
Daily Faceoff hockey insider Frank Seravalli later added that the Flames had agreed to send multiple draft picks to Seattle for Jarnkrok, who is Elias Lindholm’s cousin.
Jarnkrok, 30, is a right-handed forward who has played much of the 2021–22 season at wing but has also spent significant time at centre during his National Hockey League career.
