If one Sanheim is scoring and the other is taking penalties, it’s usually Travis lighting the lamp and Taylor sitting in the sin bin.
It was role-reversal night for the Sanheim twins on Tuesday night.
Taylor Sanheim skated by the penalty box – where Travis was serving a two-minute sentence – picked up a puck in the neutral zone and scored a shorthanded breakaway just 2:19 after the opening faceoff.
It was a sign of things to come as the Hitmen beat the Portland Winterhawks 6-2 at the Dome.
“He took a pretty bad penalty there,” Taylor joked.
