This coming May is the 40th anniversary of the Atlanta Flames moving to Calgary. To commemorate this occasion, we’re counting down the Top 40 Calgary Flames in history.
Coming in at #36 is one of the more underrated players in club history, Guy Chouinard.
Chouinard may have been the first truly great player in Flames franchise history. He scored 50 goals (and had 107 points) as a 22-year-old during his time in Atlanta, and he scored the final goal in Atlanta Flames history.
After his relocation to Calgary, he only played three seasons with the Flames.
