TJ Brodie has been rock solid since returning to Calgary Flames lineup

For all the excitement of beating the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night, the Calgary Flames can't escape their reality.

With their 3-8-1 record, they had one of the worst opening months in franchise history, as well as one of their worst marks a dozen games into a season.
