The Adirondack Thunder had a rough week this past week losing two of three games at home. The Thunder won Friday night beating the Colorado Eagles 5-1 but followed that win with a loss to the Eagles on Saturday by a score of 6-2 and then lost to the Norfolk Admirals on Tuesday 4-3.
Friday’s game began with Brian Ward scoring his 11th goal of the season on the power-play from Captain Peter MacArthur and Mathieu Brodeur 4:11 into the 1st period. The Eagles would tie the game 1-1 just over the midway point of the 1st period but Peter MacArthur would give the Thunder the 2-1 lead on the power-play at 16:52 of the 1st with assists going to Patch Alber and Mathieu Brodeur.
