The Flames and Jets clashed outdoors last night at the Heritage Classic with Winnipeg beating the Flames in OT 2-1. The game looked picturesque under the lights with the snow flying from the drop of the puck, but as a whole there wasn’t much flow to the game. The teams combined for 75 shots on the night, but only three goals were scored.
Calgary would get on the board first at the 14:47 mark of the second period when Elias Lindholm would take a feed from Johnny Gaudreau on the door step and tap in his 7th goal of the season.
