Tidbits
-There’s a First: After the first period the Flames had a 1-0 lead thanks to a Johnny Gaudreau power play goal. The goal was Gaudreau’s team leading 10th of the season. More significantly, it was the first time the Flames had a lead after the first period in five games.
-Speaking Of Firsts: Noah Hanifin put the Flames up 2-1 with less than two minutes gone in the third period. The marker was his first on the season.
-And One Last First: Congrats to Ryan Huska as he coached his first ever NHL game on Saturday night.
