Calgary Flames general manager Brad Treliving held court with local media on Saturday afternoon. Among the topics of conversation was the various injuries Flames players were dealing with during the post-season.
Treliving noted that only Chris Tanev (labrum injury related to his dislocated shoulder) will require surgery, but the Flames had several less major ailments they were dealing with.
Off the top of Treliving’s head:
- Nikita Zadorov (cracked ribs)
- Milan Lucic (AC joint sprain)
- Oliver Kylington (shoulder)
- Andrew Mangiapane (wrist)
- Matthew Tkachuk (hand)
Zadorov’s rib injury was from crashing into the post in Game 7 against Dallas.
