Tyler Wotherspoon’s travel itinerary this season has been interesting, to say the least.
A week ago, the 22-year-old defender was in Philadelphia with the Calgary Flames on a four-game road swing.
And on Monday, he was back at the Scotiabank Saddledome sitting beside Micheal Ferland and Michael Frolik in the team’s dressing room and preparing for the Flames’ six-game home stand.
But unlike the rest of his teammates, Wotherspoon had taken the long way back home — via the American Hockey League through San Diego and Stockton, Calif.
“It’s been a tiring last couple of days,” Wotherspoon said with a chuckle.
