Something seems off, doesn't it?
It's almost a guilty, this-can't-be-real feeling. An itch.
That uneasiness can be traced back to Sir Sidney Crosby.
He has perplexed the hockey world with an uncharacteristically bland start to the 2015-16 season. Crosby, the supposed best player on the planet, is on pace to post 36 points over an 82-game season.
The struggle, as the kids say, is real.
An attempt at providing context to that last line: Rugged San Jose Sharks forward Joel Ward (seven goals and 11 points in as many games) has a six-point buffer between him and Crosby, who has a goal and four assists in 11 games heading into the Pittsburgh Penguins' matchup the Canucks in Vancouver on Wednesday.
