1. Oct. 19, Flames 4, Jets 1
There are a couple of reasons for the Flames and their faithful to look back at this game with great joy.
First off, the victory featured a fantastic first period from goalie Jonas Hiller, who stopped 12-of-13 shots while his teammates found their legs, and erased a 1-0 deficit for a comeback, a recurring storyline for the rest of the season.
With the win, the Flames finished the first road trip of the season with four wins in six outings for a better-than-.500 mark, another trend year-long.
