A week ago, Robert Clark was just another lower case anthem singer with no real profile, visibility or status.
Suddenly he’s on his way to being famous.
And just like his iconic predecessor, Paul Lorieau, he’s becoming a household name across Canada and throughout the hockey world for NOT singing.
Lorieau, of course, became an instant legend one night in 2006, when in response to fans in California booing the Canadian anthem, Edmonton fans decided to sing O Canada full volume with him and he held the mic in the air for them to take it home by themselves.
