The off-season from hell continues for the Los Angeles Kings.
There was the arrest of pending unrestricted free agent Jarret Stoll, who recently plead down to a pair of misdemeanours after being busted in Las Vegas with cocaine and MDMA.
Then came the news that the Kings had terminated the contract of Mike Richards, a decision that made more sense a couple of days later when a report in the Winnipeg Sun revealed the veteran forward is under investigation for alleged possession of a restricted substance while attempting to cross the Canada-U.S. border.
The coupe de grace came on Thursday when a California court determined Slava Voynov likely will be spending some time behind bars.
