The Senators will be kept busy before the NHL's holiday break.
And, if there's one area of their game they'd like to find before they close out the pre-Christmas schedule, it's consistency.
Starting with Monday's visit by the Los Angeles Kings to the Canadian Tire Centre, the Senators will play five games before the four-day break and they're sitting in a wildcard spot in the East after a half-hearted effort in a 3-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens Saturday night at the Bell Centre.
A 1-3-0 record wasn't what they had in mind when they went on a four-game road trip that started last Sunday in New York.
