Erik Karlsson will get a chance to play at home next season.
The National Hockey League confirmed on Wednesday the Senators will face off against the Colorado Avalanche in two regular-season games at the Globen Arena in Stockholm in back-to-back games Nov. 10 and Nov. 11.
“It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be good for the fans over there, especially with the time difference, they don’t have the opportunity to stay up and watch every game,” Karlsson said. “It’s going to be a different element for us and it’s going to be a great experience.
