Mark Stone will serve the time but he doesn’t agree with the punishment for the crime.
Stone chose his words carefully after being suspended for two games by the NHL on Monday for a hit on Detroit’s Landon Ferraro. But the Senators’ winger expressed disappointment with the decision after a morning skate Tuesday at the Bell Centre.
Stone, who has three goals and 10 assists in 11 games this season, indicated all people have to do is look at his clean record in the past to know the decision isn’t right.
“I obviously don’t agree with it,” said Stone.
