The Finnish Flash will light up the Hockey Hall Of Fame.
Teemu Selanne has been named among the 2017 inductees voted into the Hall on Monday afternoon.
In his first year of eligibility, Selanne is joined by three former NHLers who had been on the waiting list: Paul Kariya, Dave Andreychuk and Mark Recchi.
Danielle Goyette, a Canadian national women world and Olympic champion, brings the player count to five.
Two builders — longtime Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs and Canadian University coaching legend Clare Drake, who ran the University of Alberta program — round out this year's class of inductees.
