WINDSOR — Danny Flynn’s pre-game message to his players on Friday night will sound familiar to what he imparted on his group on Tuesday.
To an extent.
Flynn, the coach of the Saint John Sea Dogs, happily is embracing the way the dominoes have fallen for his team at the 2017 Memorial Cup.
And who can blame him?
“I said before the game (Tuesday) night to our guys that was the best deal in hockey — we win one game and we’re in the national semifinal,” Flynn said.
“Now we have a better deal.
